IT program is for anything other than IT
Today it is ruthlessly required IT'en it has real but complex tasks to solve. When you look at the so-called IT projects, find solutions to problems in all other technologies.
If you come to me and says you have a difficult problem in an area like health, biomedicine, business models or intelligent clothing, and say you communicate that you can not find an EU program that supports development in this area I will say - try to think differently. Think for example about the need for any IT to analyze and support you in your decisions in that area.
Many have already done so, and today 70% of all IT projects, projects that could well be within completely different thematic areas. But IT component is significant and is therefore called an IT project.
If you are not completely satisfied look on the workshops are already scheduled for the IT conference in Helsinki ( exact link ).
Let me just take a pair from the list:
- A Roadmap Towards a European Health Grid,
- Airport Safety Initiative
- Biomedical informatics for optimeret treatment of infectious diseases,
- Workshop on Wearable Technology and Intelligent Textiles,
- Risk & Crisis Management in Europe
Who said "IT" and I said that there were published 106 such workshops in Helsinki!
Interest groups and networks are already formed, are you with?

Timing is crucial
You have to start planning your project, at least 6 months before ansøgnikngen be delivered.
Tips: Allow 3 months for analysis of current projects and identify the best partners. The next 3 months are then used to write and consolidate application.
Podcast: Good timing is important
